POD Point, the UK’s leading electric vehicle charging company is offering free home charging units to electric and hybrid vehicle owners in East Anglia, the East and West Midlands.
The POD Point charge point is the Solo 2, the latest ‘smart’ communicating charge point, with in-built GPRS technology that allows two way communications between the charge point an online account, enabling electric and plug-in vehicle drivers to monitor how much energy they use, remotely lock the charge point or set charging schedules from a laptop, PC or mobile phone.
The POD Point charge points will be installed using a grant from the government’s Plugged-In Places scheme, and the offer is available to electric or plug-in vehicle owners in Source East and Plugged-in Midlands regions.
The fully installed charge point is worth over £1,000, can be installed in the home or workplace, and is subject to a free site survey. To apply, email POD Point firstname.lastname@example.org, or phone 0207 247 4114 with the requested installation address.
